Erl Murati is a professional journalist living and working in Tirana, Albania. He has been the editor in chief of the Gazeta Shqiptare newspaper since 2009.
Since graduating from the University of Tirana with a degree in journalism, he has over the years written thousands of articles about domestic politics and international affairs for several newspapers and magazines. Most of his career has been spent covering news stories as a full-time reporter, editor and columnist for a variety of media companies like "Koha Jone", "Mapo" and "Ballkan". Murati also worked with the "South-eastern European Times" news agency, for which he has written extensively on national politics, foreign affairs, defence, civil rights and matters of constitutional law.
